Moisture got behind the tile in this bathroom which caused the substrate to fail and the tile caved in. If a proper moisture barrier is not installed correctly prior to application of tile in any bath or shower room it can lead mold issues, and walls or floors to give way. Our team remedied this by removing the tile and damaged substrate, replacing wall and properly waterproofing and sealing the bath surround. The home owner went with the same classic 3x3 white classic tile. As a side note another way to keep moisturefrom being trapped in places like this, is to make sure you have proper ventilation that is directed to the extrior of home. If this hot moist air doesnt not get properly rid of in a house the moist air cal either get behind walls, further being trapped. When this happends it can cause serious issues like mold and failure of the materials and structural integrity.
Do not let this happen, let us help. We can educate you on how to mitigate these issues, so they can be prevented in the future. If you have a bathroom FAILURE or just want to UPDATE we can ensure its done to last beyond the style.
